Over time, the filter becomes full of dirt and you'll want to replace it. This is also a good time to change your oil. The air filter in your motorbike filters the air that is sucked in by the combustion engine. With a clean, properly functioning filter, harmful particles cannot get into your engine. This also helps to keep fuel consumption low. For motorbikes, we only offer replacement filters from K&N. These are more expensive than original air filters, but they are of high quality and can be cleaned and therefore reused. This means you don't have to buy a new filter quickly, so you'll earn back the cost after a few years.

Finding the right filter starts with selecting your make, as we can't search for motorbike engines by registration number. When choosing a suitable filter, pay attention to the year and model, which are listed with the products. It's also important that the diameters are correct. Fortunately, the oil filter or air filter on a motorbike is much easier to access than on a car. The exact location of your filters varies depending on the make. Therefore, it's wise to consult a manual or video for your motorbike. You don't need any special tools, a standard set of spanners and Allen keys is usually sufficient. An oil drain pan and a cloth are also recommended for changing the oil filter.
