Machine Brushes are attachments for machines that are used in every car workshop or by the DIY enthusiast. The way the brush works depends on the design and type of brush. There are 3 different types of brushes:
- Cup Brushes: This brush head has a cup shape, which makes them very suitable for cleaning a round surface
- Wheel Brushes: These brushes have a disc shape. This allows you to work in lanes on a large surface or easily reach tight spaces
- Tube Brushes: As the name suggests, tube brushes are suitable for working in narrow openings.
What to Consider When Buying a Machine Brush?
It is important that you carefully consider which machine brush you need when purchasing. You can pay attention to the following characteristics:
- Material: Machine brushes can be made of steel, brass or plastic. Plastic is suitable for textiles. Brass is harder than steel and is suitable for removing rust and dirt from, for example, brake discs.
- Dimensions: Check if the brush fits the machine you are mounting it on. Most brushes fit in a standard drill.
- Application: Use specific brushes for the surface to be treated.
- Technical Specifications: Pay attention to brush diameter and applicability to your machine.
