With a car DAB radio adapter, you can listen to the new digital standard for radio. DAB+ stands for Digital Audio Broadcasting Plus and offers several advantages over AM/FM radios. Because DAB+ is digital, it delivers clear sound without noise or interference, allowing you to enjoy your favourite stations in high quality. Car DAB radio adapters come in different types and forms. For example, there are aerials that you mount on your roof, just like a normal aerial. These are available in shark fin form or as a standard aerial. You can also choose an aerial that you stick on the windscreen. These are easy to use and install.

Car stereo DAB+ conversion

Replacing your car stereo with a DAB+ car stereo is not difficult. You only need the right aerial. With a DAB+ aerial that you stick on your windscreen, this is child's play. Choose a suitable place on the windscreen, about 15 cm from the top. Clean the glass and stick the aerial in the right place with the supplied adhesive strip.

Connect the aerial to the back of your car stereo via the appropriate connection. When purchasing, check that the aerial is suitable for your car stereo. You may need an aerial adaptor to make everything fit. Most DAB+ aerials are powered by your car's 12V battery.
