A Torx key also has six points, but looks more like the shape of a star. This is used to tighten or loosen bolts and screws with a star-shaped socket in the head. The star shape of the Torx means that more force can be exerted on the screw or bolt. These screws are therefore often tightened securely. It is important to use a well-fitting key so that the screw head is not damaged.
